Privacy policy

Who we are

Kurant is a product of FORGE, a business based in Montreal, Quebec. The person in charge of protecting personal information is Alex N., founder. For any question or request: [email protected].

What we collect

Only what you enter in the waitlist form:

• your email address;
• your bike's brand and model, the system and voltage chosen in the compatibility tool, and the controller label text if you provide it;
• your phone type (Android or iPhone) and your province;
• the date of your consent and the version of the text you accepted.

The site uses no advertising cookies and no tracking tools.

Why

• To tell you when Kurant is available for your bike, and about the launch and the Kickstarter campaign.
• To decide which bikes and phones to support first.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for other purposes without your consent. If you back the campaign, Kickstarter handles your pledge under its own privacy policy.

Where your information is kept

The site and its database are hosted by Cloudflare, whose servers may be located outside Quebec. Only the designated person in charge has access.

How long we keep it

We keep your information until you unsubscribe, or at most 24 months after Kurant launches. It is then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your information, and withdraw your consent. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Write to [email protected]; we reply within 30 days. You can also contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
